Empire Cinemas traces its history back to 1919 when Lebanese cinema pioneer Georges N. Haddad launches his first movie theatre in Beirut, naming it the Cosmograph at its Bourj location (Place des Canons). Today, Empire Cinemas has 6 locations in Lebanon and just recently opened its first location in Iraq.
