Which comics are best for your kid?

Reading doesn’t always have to be white pages with endless words. Colorful visuals prove to be appealing to kids of all ages – even adults.

Lebanon Kids’ Guide compiled a list of best award-winning comics for your kids to read.

Age 6+

  • Anna and Froga: The adventures of these five friends, Anna, Froga, Ron, Christopher, and Bubu go above and beyond, and are sure to keep your kid entertained and laughing.

Age 8+

Age 10+

  • El Deafo: A girl with hearing imparity is bullied at school, but not for long. She becomes her own kind of superhero after her Phonic Ear device helps her hear much more than she needs. Based on a true story, this illustrated biography stole the hearts of its readers.

 

  • Kitaro: This Japanese comic is about a one-eyed boy who fights monsters and Japanese ghosts found in folklore stories.

 

  • Nimona: Adventures, adventures, and more adventures arise in this mystical award-winning comic. Internationally acclaimed by many publications, this book will get kids hooked.
